Team 7424

Silverado High School

We imagine a Nevada with GREAT education opportunities and the nation's BEST technology and engineering leaders. We aim to inspire the community to apply math, science, & technology through competitive engineering competitions. We are inventing ways to engineer this future for ourselves, and our fellow Nevadans.

Benefits of Participation

Students Learn:

  • To work in a team
  • To meet deadlines
  • To work under extreme pressure
  • To advocate for themselves and their team
  • To speak in a public forum about their team and FIRST Robotics
  • To design / fabricate / build / program robots to perform specific tasks
  • To accept criticism from peers & learn from failure

Coaches / Mentors: They TRULY make an impact on their students, which means more job satisfaction.

Parents: When their kid's school calls, it's a good thing!

School Administrators: Bragging rights at every Principals meeting.

Middle and Elementary Schools: Mentorship for their robotics programs.

Girls: All-girl events, workshops, and seminars - in order to INCREASE FEMALE involvement.
